Further integration continues the 2017 Xref success trajectory

As we are in the second quarter of the calendar year (yes, it is already May…terrifying, isn’t it?) now’s a good time for small businesses to look back on the goals originally set for 2017, and assess progress against them to date.

Any business in a similar position to Xref will be familiar with the challenge of continuing on the trajectory set after a particularly good year. But we’ve come to realise that it’s important to do as little self-contemplation as possible, and recognise that the success of your business is as much about your clients’ performance as it is about your own.

Ultimately, the workforce of today is busier and under more pressure than ever. This is particularly true for recruiting teams, which face an increasingly competitive war for talent, causing the need to do everything faster while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Automated and cloud-based solutions go some way to making this possible. Individually, they solve specific pain points of the recruitment challenge, through integration they work towards streamlining the entire process – making life simpler and more convenient for clients and contributing to their own ongoing growth.

According to the Q4 2016 Westpac-Melbourne Institute SME Index, one of the top three goals for Australian SMEs in 2017 is enhancing products and services, and this is very high on the Xref agenda.

So, how are we enhancing our solution for the benefit of our clients? In the most part, through integration. As Lee wrote in a reflective blog post in December, looking back on a very successful 2016, integrations had played a significant part in driving our growth in the previous year and would continue to be a core focus for the year ahead.
