Human resources technology company Xref (ASX: XF1) today announced that its clients Qantas and Westpac have commenced using the Xref platform in combination with the Oracle Taleo applicant tracking system to manage staff recruitment.
Xref automates the candidate referencing process through an easy to use, mobile-friendly, cloud- based technology platform. Employers can activate Xref on Oracle Taleo by downloading the Xref application from the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Once connected, Xref enables them to request and receive an Xref candidate reference check through its Oracle Taleo system.
The Oracle Taleo Cloud Service supports recruitment for 6,000 of the world's largest companies and has a sales team of more than 4,000. This provides Xref with an important marketing channel which facilitates client retention and will support the company's globalisation strategy.
Using Xref to collect pre-employment references frees up time for more strategic talent acquisition. Qantas has also been able to reduce the possibility of reference fraud, increasing security around the validity of referees.
Most recently the Xref team provided the expertise required to integrate their platform with our Oracle Taleo applicant tracking system. Xref is now fully embedded into a seamless, end-to-end recruitment workflow allowing Qantas to minimise time-to-hire whilst ensuring consistency and governance across our hiring process.
